Hey, what is going on with the Amiga...I have not touched one since my A1200, well, last week I saw a video of how OS4.0 will be running, so, no doubt about it, I am buying an Amiga One + OS4.0, but when, where, and so on.
-Will places like Bestbuy, CompUSA and so on be selling them?
-Prices?
-Any dealers around South Georgia, North Florida?
-Is the computer and software produced here in US?
-When will OS4.0 be released, I mean, a full version?
-Do A1 support 1000 mbit netcard?
-Is there any site with more information?
Cheers

-Will places like Bestbuy, CompUSA and so on be selling them?
No. They are only sold via appointed AmigaOne dealers.
-Prices?
Approx $750 for an A1 motherboard with G3 processor, or $1200 for a basic system.
-Any dealers around South Georgia, North Florida?
A full list of A1 dealers is on the front page of AmigaWorld.Net (http://www.amigaworld.net).
-Is the computer and software produced here in US?
No. The A1 is a product of a British company, Eyetech Group (although the boards are built in the far east). AmigaOS4 is developed in Europe mostly.
-When will OS4.0 be released, I mean, a full version?
Six months is what I've heard but like the deadlines for all software projects, that's probably just a guess.
-Do A1 support 1000 mbit netcard?
The A1 will take a GB ethernet card no problem, but there are no OS4 drivers for any of them.
-Is there any site with more information?
IntuitionBase (http://www.intuitionbase.com/) is a good place to start.
