Hi.
Just seen a mate who's been playing around with this. I noticed that the hard-drive was already set up with lots of goodies.
As he legally owns that licence I wondered if he could transfer that to an Amiga and whether it would work? (Obviously the Harddrives would be called the same)
Any ideas?

As far as I understand, I believe this to be legal. So long as it is his Amiga, and he doesn't use more than one copy of the program at the same time. :-)

It should, so long as the Amiga is of sufficient spec to run the program. (Enough RAM, proper processor, etc) Name of the HD shouldn't matter. You might have to make some minor changes to a script or make some assign commands to mend things. (no big deal -- and stuff that's handy to learn if you don't already know it)
You might also have to run a program like SnoopDOS to find the extra libs and fonts and whatnot that the programs need copied, as well. Amiga programs are notoriously bad for failing without a useful error message if a file is missing or of the wrong version. SnoopDOS tells you what files programs try to open, and lists the path, filename, and version they are expecting. Probably the one of the most useful utils ever written for Amiga.
Should be a fun and fairly simple project to familarize yourself a bit more with how AmigaDOS functions. :-)
