Title: MegaLoSound Amiga stereo sampler w. amplifier
Post by: SnowBord on July 19, 2004, 10:12:56 PM
Classic Amiga MegaLoSound sampler, in MINT condition - I have used it only once after I purchased it at World Of Amiga back in the day. This model is with a volume control and a built-in amplifier. There are cheaper versions available without. As it is a parallel port sampler, it can be used on ANY Amiga - be it A500, A500+, A600, A1200, A1000, A2000, A3000, or A4000.

Please don't plug it directly into an A1000, as that didn't have a standard parallel port!  You'd surely lose a CIA and probably the sampler

@leirbag28,

The software that came with it wasnt that great. I used this sampler with Soundprobe. It did real time effects on my A1200/030. I dont know if you can still buy Soundprobe. It was the best sample program I ever used on the Amiga.

I have one I used a few times. The microphone I used on my first attempt worked pretty good...it was from my daughter's "My First Tape Recorder"! I actually find it to work pretty good using the original software. It just dumps the sound onto the HD as you speak or feed it any kind of sound from any audio source. But it's pretty cheesy looking, as in cheap looking. I also now have a DSS8+ which I plan to use on one of my Amigas when I get back into animations.
