Hi ppl,
I've done a compile of UAE to the iPAQ handheld (Linux only) that uses the SDL lib. It should also run on the Zaurus, and does not need X.
Reqs:
An arm based handheld running some sort of Linux OS (i.e. ipaq's with familiar, zaurus, etc).
Currently this is just a recompile of uae's latest version taken from http://www.rcdrummond.net/uae/ and it's mostly useless (i.e. no keys mapping), aside from the fact that it runs ;-)
Get it from here: PAQuae (http://users.forthnet.gr/agn/evas/paquae/)
Thanks,

That is cool!
Sadly, I need to keep WinCE on my machine :-(

Very cool!
Hmm.. What chance is there for an Amiga SDL/WOS port? The current Amiga versions of UAE is a bit long in the tooth..

@redrumloa:
Havent run the Amiga version of UAE, dont have the cpu for it. ;-) Dont know much about UAE's internals, but I think a WOS port shouldnt be so hard to do.
@all:
If anyone tries this with a speedy (i.e. 400Mhz handheld), let me know how it performs. On my H3760 (200Mhz), it's on the slow side...

maybe people with the same machine (but different OS's) can give some feed back as to which is better!
PocketUAE or UAE on Linux!

I've updated PAQuae so you can now use the cursor keys on the ipaq as joystick, and the iTask button to quit the emulation.
