Post by: duesi on January 28, 2003, 07:23:52 PM
OK finally I got my OS39 also running on my PC

with WinUAE (Thanks to Thomas)

But one question I have now:

How should I install the network ? is it possible ?

Yes, it is possible, but it also depends on how you want to manage it or what you want to do..

Easiest way to do it is to check the option "add PC drives at startup" in the "Hard Drives" tab.. Offcourse, before you start up make sure you made some network connections setup in Windows..

Similar for linux I guess..

Install network as in internet? Is so, that's a piece of cake! Just click BSDSOCKET EMULATION in the misc tab of WinUAE setup.

If you mean sharing files with OTHER PCs through a router, you'd have to set up Samba and I can't help you there much:-)

Nope, no Miami or any stack.  Just click that on and everything should run fine, although Jabberwocky doesn't hit the BSD correctly yet so it doesn't work in WinUAE.
