Title: How to initialize a drive in os3.9

Ok im installing 3.9 today and its not seeing my hd, the icon on the desktop says its uninitalized how do I intialize it? it cant see the drive becasue of it so I cant install the os......argggggg

From memory...  Click the drive icon once to high-light it.  Then right click the title bar and select Format from the Icons menu.  Use quick format, don't enable directory caching, and let it rip.  

Edit: Corrected menu to Icons, not Icon.

First of all it's called "Workbench" not "Desktop".

If there an icon there, then it's been recognized, but nor formatted.

I suggest going into SYS:Prefs/, deleting all the tooltypes in HDToolBox.info, then running HDToolBox, and re-partitioning the drive, making sure the first partition is under 4gig.

Then format the "Uninitialized" partition (after rebooting)
