Title: FS: Pegasos 1 motherboard + assorted bits.
Post by: Jope on July 08, 2004, 06:59:03 AM
- Pegasos 1 April 2 + standard G3-cpu card
- ATX-portplate so your ATX case's rear end doesn't look ugly
- 128MB ECC REG SDRAM, IBM quality, works fine with the Peg
- 3cd Superbundle
- MOS 1.3 ja 1.4 on CD

Works great, but I have no use for it now. It's been a long time since I last used it.

I just tried it out with Linux and everything works ok.. I can't boot to MorphOS now, because I don't have a Radeon/Voodoo345 so I can't see anything. :-)

Asking price 350e

I'll ship anywhere, buyer pays shipping, of course. (Normal post, ups / tnt might be possible too, but I haven't ever sent anything with them)

Important note: I will only accept bank wire transfer for the payment, no paypal-scams or stuff like that. Once I see the price of the board + shipping on my account, the Pegasos board will be on it's way. Please mind, that the wiring will take up to around a week if you're far away, but it's the safest way for you and me.

Make me an offer, if you reckon I'm asking too much, but don't whine about the price, it's only the ASKING price.

PMail your offers and proposals! I may be willing to trade it in for some cool kit.. Perhaps a PPC Cyberstorm? Money will always take preference, however.

No interest at all?

Please make an offer, I won't bite.

Hmm, not quite 50p or 80e.. I'm looking for a little more than that.

@Jope

eBay it with pictures and flat international shipping costs.

It will sell.

Why is a texan talking in euros? Ugh. Without wanting to spark of a political debate, "Britain has her weights and measures".

but don't whine about the price,

Not to whine but you can get a brand new Peg2 G3 for that exact price...

I agree with red. You should put it on ebay and it will sell. Even better why not go to www.newegg.com and get a $20 ATX case, and some other real low priced items and make a complete system to sell. I bet you would get more that way.

Yeps.. Thus it's only the asking price. :-)

If someone wants to pay that much for it, then I don't have anything against it.

In Finland we have this saying: He isn't dumb who asks, but who pays.. $100/80e is certainly not enough for me to part with it.. Perhaps something beginning with a two and with three numbers (on the left side of the decimal point ;-)

I'm afraid of selling on eBay.. Then again, if I have the same terms of payment there, then it wouldn't be so dangerous.

I've heard too many horror stories of people getting screwed. Especially with paypal.. I just don't want the hassle / potential loss of item or money.

Oh well, if it doesn't sell here, then I'll seriously consider ebay, at least.

Heh, monster munch.. Brings back memories from the time when we used to live in England.. Mmm.

Btw, your variety of flavoured potato snacks is much nicer than the stuff we have here.. I have fond memories of walkers crisps. Prawn {bleep}tail, smoky bacon, cheese & onion, beef & onion.. Droooll..

Snif.. I guess I should book a work-related course in England again - I could get to eat those delicious delicacies once more. :-D

Then you do not send the board out until you have the money  :-)

Bump.. (just this one bump, promise :-)

Still for sale.. I'll consider all three figure offers!

The market can't be saturated yet?
