There's just something so ironic about AmigaWorld regulars discovering a scam.

@KennyR

Sniper!:flame:  No need to stereotype now!

After so many scams, I think the whole community has become extremely wary to such a point that we presume guilty until proven innocent.

(Thinking aloud)....Hmmm!Seeing as the guy is from Manchester maybe I could arrange for some heavies to pay the little scammer a visit.

If your not a Manc, your a wank

Maybe he's a Manchester United fanclub member :)

Title: ALX Your Websites Are Crap!!!
Post by: Sarahill on July 10, 2004, 03:29:20 PM
I Think Amigashop co uk  is a great idea

and is well needed I ordered my 3.1 roms from there and they came after only three days. They also advertise your amiga bit for free

Ive advertised my old A1500 on there and ive had a few emails already.

I think that the owner of all these sites has retired and new managment has taken over all Casemodding and Amiga Stuff. Plus i think we should give them all the help they need including any ideas. :-)

The site is totally configurable and they need Amigan's Help to provide the best service, it would be nice to see some good webdesigners go in improve the face.

Cheers Anyhow i live in Manchester too so im going to see the person who created this shop to have a chat and give them my ideas.

A1200 Forever (and a bit of Pegasos) :-o

PLUS ALX Your Websites Are Crap!!!

One doesnt link up i searched you on google and it took me to LYCOS hosted {bleep}ty page that has been hacked

And that Amiga Wiki is total {bleep}e.

Sorry but it has to be said, you dont deserve to touch an amiga. :pissed:

I think we should add another choice to the list of, "What killed off the Amiga?".
So along with piracy, Bill Gates and Commodore's incompetence, we could put the final nail in the coffin down to barstewards scamming Amigans out of their money.
No wonder people leave the platform, the hardware's expensive and when they do finally save up enough money for their accelerator or whatever, some See-You-En-Tea rips them off.

:-(

PLEASE TRY TO EXPLAIN HOW THIS COULD BE A SCAM WHEN ALL PAYMENTS GO THROUGH PAYPAL AND NOCHEX????

Dont You think the Site would be shut down if it was a scam?

I think that everyone being a bit picky over this site considering the amount of orders that will be processed there bound to have a few {bleep}s complaining and causing havock in forums i think thats sad.

and should try advertising there amiga bits on there for FREE goog idea!!

Cheers

You pretend to be your own customer, praising your own site.

Many of your previous scam sites have been shut down.

As a heads up to anyone who might be interested in the web site labeled as scam, you've been warned.  Do with them as you will.
