Sorry I feel the urge to complain somemore ... what's the link ? ;-)
-
Hmm ... looks more tempting now ... pity you are only shipping within America or I'd click the buy it now button.
-
Maybe you can get someone here in USA to ship it to you
someone you trust I hope

Hmmm ... why does it feel so odd stringing the words "USA" and "Trust" into the same sentance ? ... strange ...
No I don't know anyone over there .. usually an E-bay'er would pay the extra for the seller to DHL or FedEx it to the buyer, it takes hardly any more effort on the sellers part than using the normal post service.
-
Some people are afraid to ship to other countries, and some don't know how.such as myself. :-)
-
Must... resist... spending... Nice item. I'm sure this will make some A600 very happy.
-
Well I own one myself.............and let me tell you................I am one seriously happy dude. Nothing like owning a Powerfull Portable Amiga!
I am gonna upgrade this thing Sooooo Baaad........that when I switch the thing on, its gonna explode into pieces.
Hey..at least it will go out with a bang! :-)
hehe........Actually, I dont intend to explode my Own Amiga 600, but intend to add USB, and Extra Clockports and a DVD-RW drive internally, and maybe an 80Gig HD internally as well. Also 2 tiny LCD screens and paint it Black. Hopefully its gonna look Viscious

Clockports ? I didn't realise the A600 could have those ?
Is this an available item ? Or a one-off special that never made it out of some developers bedroom ?
Regards
PS. I am seriously looking at getting that accelerator now .. I'd even teach you how to ship it to New Zealand (handy tip to Americans ... it's that funny little place down the bottom right of most atlas's ... you might not know of it yet as Bush hasn't invaded us yet) ;-)

@Sparky
Yes well INDIVIDUAL COMPUTERS make this little adaptor that plugs into the Gayle chip (or Gary,I cant remember) and gives it an A1200 compatible clockport!!!.............then you can add many peripherals intended for the A1200. Such as The Subway USB card, or the SilverSurfer High speed serial card. Maybe even the Delphina sound card. here is the llink:
http://jschoenfeld.com/indexe.htm
Now the thing I was talking about that adds even more clock ports so that you can add more expansions is called the Quaddddraport, spelled just like that, and it adds 4 more clockports!!! amazing right? I think so. Just imagine where you can go with your A600.
Check out this page to see what this guy did to his A600:
http://www.amiga600.de/
He added USB to his Amiga 600 as well as MacOS. He has this little clockport adaptor as so do I. I bought it about a month ago.

Do you know the name of the product? (amiga 600 clockport)
Just browsen on IC's homepage without finding it.
I'm working myself on getting my A600 with an M-tec 030 42mhz board to be a small monster ;)
-
It's the SilverSurfer addaptor for A600.
-
Aha...muchos gracias!
Vi svenskar har koll på läget, lol.
-
@AMIGAZ
Its probably called the A600 Silversurfer adaptor.............you can get it from INDIVIDUAL COMPUTERS, try talking to Jens.
He may have posted it up on the site...........if not check software hut and look at the silversurfer..........in the description it tells you about the adaptor.
I hope Jens makes many many more...people are not aware that this exists.
If you want to see a picture of how it looks..........try the EXTREME A600 upgrading page:

You know that someone is actually planning to produce a brand new batch of these ? :-P
-
Yes, I do. I signed up for the list. Let's hope it goes over 50 orders. The bad thing about the new batch is that it will be produced with no improvements to known problems of the original production. :-( I asked about this and the answer was "it will be the same". :-(
