My CSPPC is fully functional! I can run all the WarpOS demos no problem!
I also installed Warp3D again so it would copy over the PPC libs. Unfortunately, i'm having some trouble getting them to work.
68k Warp3D stuff works fine. Gears, glSokoban, glQuake etc. all run fine, as long as I run the 68k version.
Running the PPC Warp3D apps gives this exception:
PowerPC Data access exception (load operation)
Memory protection violation - Access to 00000000
The excepting instruction is located at 08645AB4
Task name: 'ramlib_PPC' Task address: 086C38D0 Task ID: 105

That doesn't look happy, do you have all the latest libs and stuff. Unfortunate that I know dick about ppc stuff.
This link has some interesting stuff:

Yep... got WarpUp 5.1, and Warp3D 4.2 (mediator specific version)...
-
You say you have a mediator specific version of Warp3D. Did you use the MMCD to copy across the drivers, because it usually copies across the wrong ones, I know that my version copied across the A4000 versions instead of the A1200 ones.
I think the A4000 drivers are the Avenger ones.

Try THIS (http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9546) thread:-)
That may help, unless it is a Mediator problem.
-
Hmmmm... which are for A1200 and for A4000? I have an A4000, btw.
-
If you get MediatorX yit will show you what Warp3D drivers you have (whether the A1200 or A3000/A4000 versions). You want the AvengerBE.Library, AvengerBE_PPC.Library and both the LE libs
You probably have AvengerBEM.Library etc installed by the MMCD
-
Ahh... it appears I have the A1200 ones installed, HOWEVER, they are the only ones on my MMCD :-/
-
A quick email to Elbox, and they sent me the latest Mediator Warp3D files. Now PPC W3D stuff is working great!
Thanks for all your help anyway :-)
-
Congratulations, and welcome to the PPC 3.x ranks. :-)

Thanks, although tomorrow i'll have OS4 on there, too. Its nice being an official betatester ;-)
