I just got my hands on this scandoubler for my modded A1200 however there was no manual with it and I've been unable to find anything online that explain how to connect it to the A1200. It's a "Scandy 1200" (3 chip solution) and I slightly remember seeing this once before and then it was connected to Lisa (U4), U7 & U8. The cables and sockets seem to fit this but the U8 socket has it's "key" wrong (cable are so short it only allow the socket to sit in one direction and then the key of the socket doesn't fit the key on the chip) though it have heavy marks indicating that it is likely to have been seated "wrong" in the past.
Can someone confirm this for me... preferably with a picture of a correctly installasion for comparison? I rather not power on my beast before I know this one is installed correctly. :-D

Are there realy noone else with this scandoubler out there to help me out?

; i own this one myself

It's nothing like that at all.. the scan/flicker magic is a 2 chip solusion over Lisa and Alice where this one is over Lisa and U7 and U8. However I've recived information from other sources that connfirm that I've connected it right and that the sockel have it's key wrong on others aswell.

allrighty! then you have to make a picture of it and send asap to www.amiga-hardware.com
Do you have it working now?
Good luck!

Haven't tested it yet but it should work... missing the shield around the monitor connector so will wait till tomorrow when I've put on one before I try it. Currently don't have room for the monitorconnector nor a VGA monitor to go with the modded system so I'm in no hurry.
