Description: Kinda got a little upset over 20 of 25 aladdin XT xbox modchips that refused to accept a bios flash Built a voltage multiplier, hooked it up to a CCFL inverter and let one have it, before emailing the image to the supplier. A bit of a mod cruelty thing, "replace my mods or they'll all suffer this fate!" Think it'll work? ;p Complete set of images (including aftermath) here: http://www.horizons-edge.com.au/aladdinxt/ Picture Stats: Views: 2284 Filesize: 165.91kB Height: 768 Width: 1024 Posted by: CodePoet at December 07, 2004, 11:19:35 AM Image Linking Codes

I HAVE chosen another modchip. The DuoX2 with xecuter 2 bios :-) Though first I had an xbox with an xecuter 3 chip, but that one I fried with adding a front panel to my xbox :-( The latter is by far the easiest to use. Every setting (like hard drive formatting and high-definition video) is available in the modchip program :-) |
