Description: This is Crow T. Robot from the Mystery Science Theater 3000 TV show. Well, a replica, anyway. He was built for a fan-made episode of the show and, as you can see from the missing paint on his beak, he had quite a time of it. That's an Amiga 1000 with an A1080 monitor. weirdami Posts:3776 | June 29, 2008, 11:29:06 PM I didn't build that one, in particular. Building them is for fun or, as the description says, for making your own episodes of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 television show. |

Hyperspeed Posts:1749 ![]() | October 12, 2006, 07:18:38 AM I thought it was one of those things to keep shoes from losing shape... but with eyes! |
weirdami Posts:3776 | July 24, 2004, 02:47:33 AM I know there's a screensaver that has the animated insert-workbench-disk screen. I put it on a windows machine at my work once. :-) Other than that, I dunno. I think there was a way to replace the image on the kickstart disk to something else but I don't know for sure. Check aminet. |
elandys Posts:1 ![]() | July 23, 2004, 10:59:25 PM Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the image shown in the picture (of the hand holding the kickstart disk)? For some reason, I want to see if using it for a boot screen on one of my boxen would make me happily nostalgic, or sadly reminicent. Any format (jpg, bmp, etc) would do. Thanks. |

Somebody had to do it. :-P For those of you who remember the first season (episodes 101 - 512) In the not-too-distant future- Next Sunday A.D.- There was a guy named Joel, Not too different from you or me. He worked at Gizmonic Institute, Just another face in a red jumpsuit. He did a good job cleaning up the place, But his bosses didn't like him So they shot him into space. We'll send him cheesy movies, The worst we can find (la-la-la). He'll have to sit and watch them all, And we'll monitor his mind (la-la-la). Now keep in mind Joel can't control Where the movies begin or end (la-la-la) Because he used those special parts To make his robot friends. Robot Roll Call: (All right, let's go!) Cambot! (Pan left!) Gypsy! (Hi, girl!) Tom Servo! (What a cool guy!) Croooow! (He's a wisecracker.) If you're wondering how he eats and breathes and other science facts (la la la), Then repeat to yourself, "It's just a show, I should really just relax For Mystery Science Theater 3000!" |

Ilwrath Posts:2199 | March 25, 2004, 06:55:41 PM Look again... there's no ROM at all... He's inserting a Kickstart 1.2 disk. ;-) Cool picture. MST3k Rocks! |
Cass Posts:826 | March 24, 2004, 10:15:26 PM It must be a < 1.2 ROM, as there isn't any v1.2 written on the right side under the disk... |
