LoadWB Posts:2901 | October 22, 2006, 09:54:05 PM Any idea what enging the inkjet used? IIRC most of the MPS series used an Epson print engine, OEM'd to Commodore. A real Commodore inkjet printer would be neat to have running, even though I can connect an HP ColorJet to my Amy ![]() |

Jose Posts:2871 ![]() | August 14, 2005, 01:00:26 PM Is there a way to make DemoReel series run on an A1200 ? I once tried it but it won't run. Then I ditched out my A500 out of the closet just to see the demo but it complained about not having enouph ram... |

graffias79 Posts:335 | February 21, 2004, 02:59:21 AM I remember seeing this picture in an Amiga World magazine back in 1995. It was used as a test print image. I think they were reviewing the Fargo Premiera Pro and an Epson Stylus Color printer. I remember wondering why they used a HAM image to do so but then I thought damn that looks nice printed. But I didn't have the kind of money to spend on a printer like that for a 512k, Kickstart 1.3 A500. I ended up getting a C= MPS 1270 inkjet printer for it instead. It worked great for the 500 until it died :-( Since then I've had a canon bubblejet 4200, an epson stylus color 640 and now an epson stylus 777. I think the C= was the coolest one. It had dot-matrix quality output for graphics but the NLQ mode was pretty slick :-) |
