I first thought it was a Jim Sachs image, Grin.

PPaint would only do such a reduction if you selected that image mode or a format not capable of supporting more (GIF and IFF spring to mind).

It might reduce the pallette to view it with depending on display device, however

Correct if I'm wrong but I'm almost sure PPaint will reduce the colors to 8bit 256 color mode, even if images are in HAM8.

I presently have an unused RF fitting just over a metre behind me. Its fed by an (otherwise unused) TV Antenna mounted near roof center.

I once had a 1982 National separates-system tuner connected to it, but that's long since ceased to work.

It would be very interesting once AmigaOS4 allows TV Cards to be controlled in A1s . . . . . . maybe then I could use that RF fitting again?  :-o

Erm, what? :-?

Don't mind me, I can't even get my GeForce TV output working ;-)

I neglected to say that I used PPaint for the enlarging, and that I copied the mountain-horizon and the rudder (to the right of 640 pixel original grab) from the view in the other grab. The sea surface below the 512 pixel (vertical) limit gives away the game . . . . many wave details are repeated.

I had done earlier grabs from this movie with the earlier Low-Res only Rombo VidiAmiga+RGB Splitter combo.

My very first grabber was the NewTek Digi-View Gold which only worked for two months! -Great fun- swinging that cardboard-mounted filter around underneath a Panasonic MS-1 with close-up lens elements added, and a S-Video to RCA cable taking the mono-signal to the Digi-View unit!
