Amiga 3000 WB2.0 manual
Amiga 3000 WB2.0 manual

Description: I found this picture on Ebay, boy do I miss those big manuals!!

Even if a company says it's trying to save money, or be environmentally friendly, or whatever, there's nothing as impressive to me as a thick set of instructions.  This really brings back the memories...

What are you doing?!
You could sell it on ebay for a fortune!!!!
Don't you know that manuals that don't show signs of roach-swatting are hard to come by in this day and age! Sheesh, the sacrilege of it all!

Where's the fun in that??? I rather enjoy speaking with a horrid, Italian accent and saying "Say hello to my little Amiga!" and smashing said roach with a 2.04 WB Binder.

This was when I was in Texas, before I moved.

And we all know that everything is bigger in Texas. :-P

Or even better, when a installer brings up a readme at the end that tells you how to install whatever it is that you've just installed

This is a real manual. Shame my A1200 have only those glueback books.

I miss the manuals of every other Amiga I have (A600, 500 and 2000).

Ironic that with all the information that computers can store, we still want something we can read when the hard drive needs reformatting.  :-)

You know what I really hate, though?  When I have to boot Windows to read the documentation on the Linux installation CD, because they NEVER print the directions beforehand.

Information Age = The age following the demise of documentation.

The German Translation of the manual didn't fit into one binder. :-D my local store got some binders from C=.  :-D

Yeah the glueback manuals really sucked. :-)

It seems that only the A1000 and A3000 were ever shipped with those "proper" binder encased manuals?

Ohhh yeah!

I have one of those manuals. It came with my 2.04 upgrade kit! :-)

I wish manuals were still made like those!

It wasn't just the A3000 that had them, you know. I used my 2.04 upgrade for my A2000.
