Description: This was one corner of my basement, on a day when I was moving things around a bit, and about to make room for the 19" ViewSonic that was on it's way. People used to always ask me why I had two monitors on my desk, and my smart reply was, "Well, I have two eyes, don't I?" Out of the picture there was another monitor - right at the foot of my bed!

A bit long in the tooth now (bought new back in 95 or 96), but still sounding great - only thing missing is all the digital I/O's of the newer models. There's also a Kenwood EQ, various tape decks & CD changers, and a smaller Technics receiver to power the odds & ends. All of these are hooked up to my Amiga & PC through a fist-sized bundle of cables. The benefit of all this is the 4 12" subwoofers (two of which are bolted inside the suspended ceiling!), 8 8" speakers, and another dozen-or-so mid- & high- range speakers. OctaMed never sounded so good!! :-D (And if I get bored, I can watch TV on the old composite monitors. God - I love it!) |
