Description: My Amiga 1200 power supply was straining due to my accelerator, etc. I wanted a power supply that looked stock but had increased amps. I found this power supply board in some old network hardware we were tossing out at work. I wanted the PSU to remain "silent" as well. The power board gets warm, but not hot I don't think it requires active cooling (mini fan). Original Specs: 5V 3.0A 12V .5A -12V .1A Mega-Power Supply: :-D 5V 8A -12V .5A 12V 3A Power Supply Model: VLT60-3000 ... You can still find them surplus online. bloodline Posts:12113 | April 25, 2009, 10:39:34 AM You can work out the Wattage using the formula P=IV ;-) |
save2600 Posts:3261 ![]() | April 07, 2009, 06:24:06 PM Great job! But ummm... where's the beef, I mean transformer?? Is it that tiny yellow bundle? A quick search though did not reveal its wattage rating. Do you happen to know what that is? The 3amp rating looks like it would output enough juice for anything you could throw inside an A1200, but that teeny-tiny tranny is kinda scary. |
