| September 13, 2006, 09:10:16 PM the ms1438s is really crap (except from the fact that it´s multiscan of course) apart from no autoadjusting feature for each resolution, you can´t even stretch the picture vertically or even change colour settings. Well after all it says "made in the UK" at the back of the monitor... :-) |

| June 01, 2004, 12:19:25 PM i used a microvitec 1438 at one time on my A1200, but quickly replaced it with a 17" thing. I shoved it on the pc, the microvitec. after a few months the screen would just fold, and i'd have to wack the top a few times for the picture to come back. ah happy days. this was december 2002 :-D |

| September 11, 2003, 08:14:28 AM The Amiga/Microvitec monitors were awful even by the standards of those days. I had one and it only lasted 8 months or so, and had no automatic screenmode settings - if you switched to a different screenmode and it didn't fit the screen, tough luck! |

I have the 14" version: M1438S (S stands for Stereo) They did the wonderful thing of building monitors that could sync as low as the 15KHz PAL/NTSC modes as well as higher line frequencies - I think this one went as high as 64KHz. |
