Description: Antec Overture case with backplane and harddisk rails removed to fit A1200 mobo. It was a real pain in the a**. Under preparation are custom motherboard holder (80% finished), new backplane (0% finished) and ATX power circuitry (placement finished on a stripboard, waiting to be soldered and tested). The keyboard interface will be a piggyback solution on the keyboard MPU using original A3000 keyboard and mobo testpoint for reset. Why desktop case instead of a tower? I simply had one around and it actually looks quite nice compared to cheap midi towers. mikolas Posts:76 ![]() | July 25, 2008, 11:59:00 AM I was about to sacrifice my old A3000 case, but just could not do it :-) And this case has plenty of room for proper (and silent) ventilation so my BPPC+BVision won't melt. |
rkauer Posts:3263 | July 25, 2008, 09:09:39 AM I prefer desktop cases, myself. Shame the A1200 MediTator system don't fit... I also have a spare A2000 case here... hmm... I need to take some measures... |
