Caius Posts:294 | January 31, 2008, 01:32:58 PM That shot is actually from within WinUAE, since it was more convenient to set it up there. It also runs on my A1200 w/68030@50Mhz 64MB ram. Though I must admit AGA is a little on the slow side for this. |
countzero Posts:1938 | January 31, 2008, 08:35:31 AM what's the spec of the machine running this ? |
Caius Posts:294 | January 28, 2008, 08:59:38 PM As for how I got it running, I just installed OS8 normally, then did the 8.1 update. I didn't do anything special on the Mac side. |
Caius Posts:294 | January 28, 2008, 08:54:08 PM Tool types: NOCOPYBACK 720KKLUDGE REMAP8K As for full config that's a lot to post, but I believe the relevant bits are: Memory Settings: - Allocate Mac ROM memory first - ROM memory type: Any Miscellanous: - MacOS 8 mode The ROM I got from an old Mac at my old university that was being thrown away. I don't remember exactly what it was, but I think it was a Quadra 900. A 1MB rom. |
motorollin Posts:8669 | January 28, 2008, 08:41:44 PM Would you mind posting your Shapeshifter config, tooltypes and ROM image version and how you got this running? I tried for ages to get 8.1 working in Shapeshifter and it just hung all the time. -- moto |
Caius Posts:294 | January 28, 2008, 08:17:43 PM Possibly. Still works on ShapeShifter, though. |
rkauer Posts:3263 | January 28, 2008, 08:15:05 PM Maybe because you don't have the right ROM image? |
