da9000 Posts:922 | January 31, 2008, 06:41:48 AM Hey Dazxy2001, what most probably happened (at least on mine), is that the crappy electrolytic SMD capacitors inside started leaking until they died (much like what happens with A600s, A1200s and A4000s). If you ever noticed a very foul smell coming from it, that's what it was! I also have an external 3.5" (but parallel port, not the propriatery port of the MiniSport) and the manuals and what-not :-) Cheers |

da9000 Posts:922 | January 21, 2008, 10:47:55 PM I meant to add the description (how do I edit a description? anyone know?): 'The evolution of hardbodied, yet floppy storage solutions: cassette -> 3.5" microdisk -> 2.0" picodisk' 8" and 5.25" disks didn't have a hard shell, so they're not in the same evolutionary path. Also minidiscs aren't shown. |
