Description: Thanks to another member I got my first look at The Very First A500 tutorial disk for probably over 15 years. This is a screenshot of the page you see after clicking the mouse button. I don't know whether "the most advanced microcomputer technology available today" refers to the Amiga as a whole, or just the mouse :-) This particular screen made me smile when I saw it again. The disk itself was split in to three sections: a general introduction which showed you how to use the mouse and how to insert disks (although presumably the user had already mastered this since they had managed to boot the tutorial...), an introduction to the Workbench, which utilised a cool simulation of Workbench 1.2, and a short guide to using the CLI. The disk was supplied with my first ever computer, an Amiga 500, purchased in around 1987 when I was 5. I don't recall it being a pack, though it did come with an Ocean games pack and a copy of Nebulus, along with The Very First disk. A500 owners from some other countries don't seem to recognise the disk, though users from several European countries report owning it in their native language. See Gwion's images below for pictures of the actual disks.
