Mounting a HDD on the A1200 HDD caddy properly
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: Originally, the HDD was held in with one screw and a piece of foam. During a rebuild, I thought I'd improve on this. Apart from drilling 4 holes for the HDD, I also shined up the bracket, and added spacers between the HDD and the caddy to improve airflow circulation.

I did almost the same to the 1200's hd.

Raise it with a spacer and long enough screws. The caddy have space for two hd at the same time!
