Description: Just pack out the RF shield screw nearest to the CPU slot edge connector, and hey presto, no more problems with the RF shield!

Ah, but im using this A1200 in conjunction with Amateur Radio gear ;-) Shielding suddenly becomes kinda important!

Or just take the upper shield and chuck it into the nearest bin  :lol:

Yes, (It wouldn't matter if the washer was conductive or not). It just lifts the RF shield sufficiently to allow it to clear the (In my case) 1230IV accelerator board in the system. Makes insertion easier and *helps* to prevent short circuits from the shield to the board.
