Any reviews or direct comparison between A1200 and A4000 Mediator on the net?

If you search Mediator email list you can see lots of users having slowdown problems in various applications with Mediator, I wonder if the A4000 version has the same problems?

Well, the obvious difference is that the A1200 Mediator doesn't have Zorro slots. However, I believe A1200 accelerators are only capable of Zorro II, and do not support Zorro DMA, so the A4000 Mediator will probably be quite a bit faster and more CPU efficient.

Hi! I have no idea, but I don't see why it wouldn't be... :)

So is the A4000 Mediator technically the same as the A1200 Mediator?

I'd love to add a PPC...and OS4...I have a PPC card but it's currently en-route to Amiga Centre France for repair..but I highly doubt it will be fixable...we'll see.  Otherwise the PPC boards are too rare and/or expensive to find/buy... :(

Revision D eh? Cool.

Out of interest, you planning on building an OS4 system out of this thing?

The Mediator is there, just missing the PPC card.
