DIY Passive Audio Mixer | ||

Description: I wanted top hook my A1200T's Paula and SoundBlaster output to the same source without using a switch or active mixer. I couldn't find a passive mixer available for sale so decided to knock my own after reading this site. It might not be the most ambitious hard/hack but I think it looks smart. weirdami Posts:3776 | July 13, 2008, 06:49:40 AM I wonder what happens when you replace the resistors with marshmallows. |
motorollin Posts:8669 | October 07, 2007, 06:47:38 PM You can replace the resistors with potentiometers which you can use as volume controls. -- moto |

I'm in exactly the same situation and would like to mix the output of my Terratec and Paula on my A4000D. did you pick up the parts at Maplins at all, or did you go somewhere else? I think I might do the same if it works :-) |
IonDave Posts:20 ![]() | October 07, 2007, 02:07:03 AM I would imagine only when the SB's mixer is active though, at least this is the case for line-in. That is how I had it connected before but got tired of cable swapping when playing games. |
