Mobile Phone Basestation Force Card w. 68k's
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: A "Force" mobile phone base station 68k processor card, ex Ericsson.

Just found it in the garage and I thought I'd let you folks here on amiga.org have a look (And if anyone notices...Yes the card is virtually multilayer...With IC's suspended above components).
The main photo shows the processors and FPU (As this is the most relevant aspect of the board here on amiga.org ...). The full board can be seen in one of the smaller images at the top.

Shame about the 68020 and 68882 being 16Mhz only.

Hodgkinson.

If you mean, of the whole base station system, this would have been one of many cards in a backplane - And this is the only "interesting" looking card of the few that we have.
Regrettably, from what I gather, the Force system had a few, errm, technical issues when it came to switch-on day...

How is the rest of the system built?, RAM/ROM? terminal? graphics?, VME expansion?
Any sideview?

I like the fact that the Eurofighter's original computer system was made from 3 68020s :-)
