| My brothers severely hacked A500 | ||

Description: A picture from 1991, back when my brother Doug had some sense. :lol: He might have got this idea from a Fish Disk. What you're seeing is an A500 that my brother really hacked up. If I can remember correctly, he took the motherboard out, hacked up the case so that only the front beveled part holding the keyboard was left, and put some plexiglass in the back of it so it was even. Ran a 3' cable in, so that the keyboard was external. Then, he built a square case out of plexiglass to hold the motherboard. Covered the case with black laminate paper. Installed the DF0 floppy (A1000 style) in the front. You can see the various games he used to play on the wall, lets see: Golf, Sinbad, Zak McKracken, Bards Tale, Defenders of the Crown, DiskMaster, Wings, and pictures printed on an old 24pin dot matrix printer from the New Tek demo (I think). No idea what brand the external floppy or the monitor was. Of course, a few years after this picture was taken, he ditched Amiga for PC. I remember that PC was a really slow SOB. Dealing with MSDos was a bitch then. Anyway, this is the guy that got me hooked on Amiga.
