Hi,

Many thanks for your comment. Yes, at first it does seem unusual to do this modification but me reason is this: I have enough space for an A600 in the cupboard underneath my television but I personally prefer the A1200 functionality so I decided to try and fit an A1200 inside an A600... which worked. I hope that explains the reasoning.....

Uhm no point?!

If you do this to an A1200 motherboard and create a 180 degree U-adapter for the turboboard you have the smallest Amiga motherboard without giving up expansion possibilites for accelerator, thats incredible!

You just answered the question yourself. The A600 case is smaller than the A1200 case, so the A1200 motherboard has to be made smaller in order to fit it in an A600 case. That's the point of the project.

and what it's the point to cut the board?? the case of Amiga 1200 it's small, and the a600 it's more smaller.

there is no point on this "project"
