Description: Well I have posted a similar image before, but this is a better picture and boasts the minor upgrades I have done since posting a photo of my Amiga before. Specifications are: - Escom Amiga A1200, 3.1 ROMS - 512MB Flash Hard Drive - Phase5 Blizzard 1220/4 - 512MB PCMCIA CF Adaptor - C= External Floppy Drive model 1011 - Running Workbench 3.1 Patches and enhancements include MagicWB, Fblit, Birdie, TitleShadow etc. The machine is totally silent thanks to the Solid State HDD, being powered by an A500 PSU and running AntiClick. Used for serious apps like Organiser 2 and Wordworth 5, as well as more entertaining stuff like Octamed 6 and various games. Tell me, is this the best Amiga 1200 pic you have ever seen? jmbattle Posts:324 ![]() | January 22, 2008, 02:49:09 AM May I ask why you don't use a 1:1 proportional screenmode (assuming dblpal/dblntsc are available)? Other than that, a very nice, clean system! James x |

Damion Posts:3511 ![]() | August 18, 2007, 06:35:39 AM Nice setup! Looks like you take exceptional care of your Amigas. ;-) Yeah, that drive is the 1011 IIRC (I have a NIB one in my garage -- an ebay score back when this stuff was $10). It's an A500 era peripheral, same color anyhow. Wow, I really miss my A1200... it's in my closet, but I sold the Blizzard 1260 and internal SD/FF... :boohoo: |
a1200 Posts:516 | June 04, 2007, 04:28:10 PM I would think they were for the A500, but not sure if they were sold with or as a seperate. The taller 3.5" Commodore drive was definitely for the A1000. When building this setup, I had several external disk drives, but decided to keep hold of the original Commodore one. |
Amiduffer Posts:1601 | June 02, 2007, 07:46:44 PM I barely ever see any of those C= external floppy drives. Did they come out with any particular models? |

McVenco Posts:1428 | May 29, 2007, 09:05:13 AM Pretty much standard WB screens are cool! I ran WB3.1 in 640x256 with only MWB and some small stuff for lots of years and I still like it... Nice machine btw, no yellowing at all! |
