| July 26, 2007, 12:56:15 PM Yeah those plcc chips get stuck in quite nicely thanks to oxidation. What I do is I use only one side of the PLCC tool at a time when prying out these smaller chips for the first time. Otherwise you might break the socket.. Just insert the hook all the way to the bottom and press the metal stem against the plastic to invoke the pulling action. :-) |
