Considering I have never used a dremel or cut metal before and that I am not usually very good at this kind of thing, I would say it was quite easy. The cutting took about an hour IIRC. The new PSU is held in place with double-sided sticky pads which sounds dodgy but is actually very secure and also removable should this become necessary.

Oohh this is a good mod. Was it easy to do with dremel? How is the little PSU fitted and fixed inside?

Cool! Nice hack job. Yes, you can juuuust barely see the fan.

Also, the PSU itself has a small fan which blows out the back of the A4000 (you can just see it in the bottom left).

I haven't really used the system heavily since installing the modded PSU so I'm not sure how stable it is. If I start getting random crashes then I'll think about fitting a fan.

Very cool. :-D

But where is the fan? :-?

If you want it silent, put a 12V one pluged on the +5V line. You'll get some air flux in a quiet way. :-D
