Description: Now this is a good example of DOF (depth of field), a little on the fringe and not quite what you would expect from me, but meh, its the best example I could think of. See how only the very tips of the the succulent are in focus, whilst the rest of the image fades to oblivion, this is a very shallow DOF, f/1.8 on a 50mm lens to be precise. If I were to tighten the aperture (the diaphragm through which the light enters the camera) to say f/22, then pretty much all of the shot would be in razor sharp focus, but that wasn't the effect I wanted to achieve. Anyway, enough boring stuff. Enjoy :-)
