Description: Here is a picture off my internal cdrom mod. I made a aluminium plate to support the harddisk and the 4xeide adapter. The twist for the ide cable is done underneath the cdrom. I at first wanted to use a CF card as harddisk..wouldn't work with cdrom. So staying with internal hd. Future: installing my delfina and internal micro speakers. r0jaws Posts:129 | February 26, 2008, 01:30:26 PM That is very neat indeed, I'm just in the process of modding my 1200 to this spec. Did you custom make the power connector for the CD rom? I can't find any floppy power cable splitters at the moment myself and may just mock one up. |
Agafaster Posts:1175 | November 15, 2007, 04:25:54 PM so what did you use to make an orifice for the low profile CD drive, and how satisfying was the result ? may yet try this on one of my A1200's cases... |
