Description: This is a view of the back of the board manufactured by Power Computing that allows one to use a standard PC drive High Density drive (came with a Sony drive) as an Amiga high-density drive. There is a small patch that needs to be run in the startup sequence. I never was able to get this to function on my A2000, so it's unused. One thing that annoyed me about the board, is that PIN 1 of the connector for the ribbon cable is NOT MARKED on the board (therefore you have to guess which way the ribbon cable is supposed to go on). AMC258 Posts:877 ![]() | December 18, 2007, 02:57:11 AM I have one too. It's slow as molasses but it works great. It never worked on my A2000, but it did work with my A3000, with or without the software patch! I recently found the case for it in a box. I haven't used the thing since buying HD internal drives for my A2000's and A3000's. |
