| Ilwrath Posts:2199 | January 16, 2007, 08:00:03 PM Well, that's certainly a US government boilerplate login message, no doubt there. :-) Now, keep in mind, there are lots of computers in the government, and it's a requirement that ALL have a message such as this (including non-secured systems on the public internet [NIPRNET] or computers placed in public areas). Hopefully that's all this A2000 was. Still it's a bit troubling that it ended up out on the market without being properly erased. Cheapest-bidder disposal company probably ran an MS-DOS erase program on it, scratched their heads, and then pitched it. An interesting find, for sure. |
