Taken that this is the quality you get through the composite-out of the A2301 genlock its not too bad and should be good enough for occasional gaming and not too lengthy Workbench sessions. I hope to test it on a Apple 20" multiscan soon (need to do some soldering first) and also hope to follow that one up with a home-made S-Video adapter for even better picture. Would I recommend it? If you don't expect super crisp, de-interlaced, non flickering image then you can't go too wrong. Haven't been able to test it on LCD monitors! |
