Description: The A1200 badge on the front of my main A1200T. This one was taken at an oblique angle and focused on the first "m" in Commodore. The camera was stood on a cardboard box and a couple of books to get it level  For effect, I illuminated the case with a blue LED keyring but it seemed to really mess up the autofocus, it took a few goes to get it. After snapping the image I realised I should have blown the dust off first ;-) Picture Stats: Views: 1804 Filesize: 58.86kB Height: 768 Width: 1024 Posted by: Karlos at December 11, 2006, 07:37:33 PM Image Linking Codes

At the level, AF relies heavily on contrast to focus, thats why manual focus is so important in macro photography. With my SLR's I can, through the view finder, pick the exact focus point in my image and then control exactly how much is in focus from their by stopping the lenses aperture down. Oh great now I'm waffling :-o Quote
Is a boo-boo we all make, you don't see the dust until you process the shots  I get that all the time with tiny spider webs, the eye can't see them, but the camera can. |
