Description: This is the second of three 'daughter' modules that form part of the A4000T motherboard. This one attaches directly to the mainboard via a 56-pin header (1). This module has SCSI DIP switches (2), a 50-pin Micro-D SCSI port (3), a 34-pin floppy header (4) and a 50-pin SCSI connector (5). Only the Micro-D SCSI port and the SCSI DIP switches are accessed at the rear of the A4KT.

X-ray Posts:4370 ![]() | July 09, 2006, 11:16:24 PM I must confess I tried to photograph the DKB3128 board freehand with my Canon G6 and I couldn't hold it steady enough at that zoom. So what I did was have a tripod with the head tilted down towards the wood desk and then use macro (no flash) on the Canon G6. I kept that setup for the pictures of the modules too. These pictures have been adjusted slightly in Photoshop. The picture of the DKB3128 board was adjusted with a lens distortion correction filter. Generally, I advise using macro setting, having no flash, and cropping the image so that it looks neat. |

X-ray Posts:4370 ![]() | July 09, 2006, 06:16:26 AM Note that of the three daughter modules, this disk module is critical for the operation of the A4KT. If it is not present, the machine will not boot. (Well I left it for 5 minutes but all I got was a dark grey screen). And having a SCSI disk on a CPU card is no help either, still no boot if you don't have this module. |
