Strange, my 4000T mobo doesn't have golden Zorro connectors :-o

That's a messy CIA replacement. It worked fine, but looked terrible. Subsequently I had both CIAs socketed and it looks very neat now. See my other photos.

No sir, that is a very old photograph, taken just before I sent the mobo to Amiga Center in France to have the CIAs socketed.
I have not worked on the custom case because I have been sidetracked by other projects not related to the Amiga.
