darksun9210 Posts:1319 | August 18, 2008, 12:24:54 AM hang on, wait a sec, did you say you had a cycberstorm PPC? if you hold down 'esc' you go into the cyberstorm boot/bios screen. click on system, click on maprom (to enable all options), click on scsipatch (to patch the scsi.device) there, now yur cyberstorm has disabled the onboard IDE for you! :-) otherwise, i love seeing people actually doing selfmade hardware of this quality :-D |
Iggy_Drougge Posts:333 ![]() | February 08, 2008, 11:12:10 PM Does it disable IDE entirely or just booting? Even if you have a SCSI HD, the onboard IDE is good for CD-ROM drives and so on. |

keropi Posts:2466 | October 29, 2006, 08:16:25 PM yes, indeed, but not anyone can burn a new rom to use... |
motorollin Posts:8669 | October 28, 2006, 09:38:17 AM I don't need one. I removed scsi.device from my 3.9 kickstart image and burned it to an EPROM :-) -- moto |
keropi Posts:2466 | October 27, 2006, 03:13:29 PM yeah, it rox! it is one of the small things that make an expanded amiga better, like a video switch, a kickflash, a full 24bit scandoubler... quality stuff! :-D |
Amigaz Posts:1959 | October 27, 2006, 06:03:30 AM Using two of them here, very nice piece of work from DJBase :-) Mine are numbered, #2 & #3 so I guess Keropi's is #1 ;-) |

x56h34 Posts:2921 | October 26, 2006, 09:28:49 PM It looks so cool. I wonder if it will be for sale and available for anyone to buy? DJBase, any comments on this? :-) |
