Description: DJBase made me this nice little card, it plugs on the A4000 IDE port and disables it... no more 30sec delay on the 1st boot, my csppc/scsi 4000 boots in no time now!  :-D  :-D  :-D

hang on, wait a sec, did you say you had a cycberstorm PPC?
if you hold down 'esc' you go into the cyberstorm boot/bios screen.
click on system,
click on maprom (to enable all options),
click on scsipatch (to patch the scsi.device)

there, now yur cyberstorm has disabled the onboard IDE for you!  :-)

otherwise, i love seeing people actually doing selfmade hardware of this quality  :-D

Does it disable IDE entirely or just booting? Even if you have a SCSI HD, the onboard IDE is good for CD-ROM drives and so on.

Very professional DIY hardware.

I don't need one. I removed scsi.device from my 3.9 kickstart image and burned it to an EPROM :-)

it is one of the small things that make an expanded amiga better, like a video switch, a kickflash, a full 24bit scandoubler... quality stuff! :-D

Using two of them here, very nice piece of work from DJBase  :-)

Mine are numbered, #2 & #3 so I guess Keropi's is #1  ;-)

It looks so cool. I wonder if it will be for sale and available for anyone to buy? DJBase, any comments on this? :-)
