Flowman Posts:55 ![]() | April 17, 2015, 11:42:40 AM @Oldsmobile_Mike I got stuck in traveling the world back in 2010. But i finally settled down in Australia and will ship over my Amiga here to start working on this project again. So in July I will try to see what I can accomplish with the crazy idea I had. |
Lurch Posts:1716 | March 16, 2014, 07:34:30 AM I was thinking of doing something like this, so I can fit the fastata/indimk2/mediator. Tried a couple of things but never had success, would pay someone to make something like the above :-) |
Oldsmobile_Mike Posts:6106 | March 26, 2013, 08:14:47 PM I always click on this picture every time it comes up on the sidebar, but never any updates. Did you ever finish this crazy project? ![]() |

weirdami Posts:3776 | September 24, 2007, 12:05:19 AM How does this affect how your Amiga works? Any timing issues (or whatever else electronical jargon I don't know about) caused by the extra distance? |
TjLaZer Posts:3245 | August 31, 2007, 08:06:11 PM Heh Amiga, Inc. sucking the life out of the Amiga! |
Fransexy_ Posts:317 | July 23, 2007, 05:22:13 PM It seems like a digital leech sucking the blood to the Amiga lol |

Homer Posts:1166 | January 10, 2007, 06:02:33 PM I thought digital pcb's were built to minimise track length and reduce crosstalk between wires  Ho hum, its another :pint: for me  |
jj Posts:4052 | December 08, 2006, 04:36:33 PM are you going to have to extendd the gayle adapter on the power flower too ? |
HellCoder Posts:279 | October 26, 2006, 11:44:34 AM To me all those bend wires, chip sockets and tape use far more space than the original chips left in place ? In both height and length. I still fail to see the purpose! Quess all that is left to do for me is to wait and see. :-D |
keropi Posts:2466 | October 26, 2006, 06:50:08 AM interesting.... but is it really nescessary? heatpipes on the amiga? why? keep us updated! |
Flowman Posts:55 ![]() | October 25, 2006, 07:32:11 PM @McVenco You got a point there. Maybe i do that :-P I working on a new case for my a1200. And to fit all hardware and heatpips i needed to move the FastATA controller. More pics will come on case project later when im done doing parts of it. |
McVenco Posts:1428 | October 25, 2006, 06:28:57 PM Slowly, all chips on the mainboard will be removed from the surface to be mounted on remote sockets. All those remote sockets will in their turn be mounted on different PCB's and in a year or three Flowman is going to have his own AGA Lorraine. Yay for computers with massive amounts of chipboards! :-D |
adolescent Posts:3056 | October 25, 2006, 06:26:13 PM I agree. Why??? Fill us in on your dastardly plans. |
keropi Posts:2466 | October 25, 2006, 05:28:17 PM why on earth did you do that for? ![]() |
