Description: As you can see from the photo - it's not a 23-pin D-Sub Socket at all!  Due to the lack of 23-Pin jobbies, I've had to lop a couple of pins off a 25-Pin connector. :lol:

Easier to do this with a pencil torch.

Looks horrible to make it done, but here is how:

- put the MB over the kitchen's cook (solder side down!) for about 30~40 seconds;

- with a plier, take the connector away the MB.

- the very same process if you need an external floppy connector. :idea:

I have a commercial genlock from the 80'ies that also has a cut 25 pin port to make it into a 23 pin port. Did not knew the 23 pin port was so rare.
