Description: I decided to try using round cables for FDD and IDE HDD in A4000 so that there is better airflow. It looks less cluttered now :-) BTW, as you can see its A4000, MKI '060, 128Mb, PIV, Ariadne. You can also see the clock battery has been repositioned and connected by wires. Hi-res version is here Picture Stats: Views: 1878 Filesize: 272.45kB Height: 768 Width: 1024 Posted by: orange at September 26, 2006, 07:35:49 AM Image Linking Codes

DrDekker Posts:325 | September 26, 2006, 04:00:01 PM Yeah, I know the one! Just watch out for any vomit on your mobo - a tad more corrosive than your average RTC battery  |
orange Posts:2796 | September 26, 2006, 12:54:49 PM ..'060 as I said ;-) BTW, I changed the original CPU fan with another. Damn those 40mm fans are expensive, at least the ones that don't die after a month or so.. The piece of paper is to prevent shortcircuit between RAM and daughterboard. It looks a bit ugly, any suggestions? (I considered using transparent plastic) The floppy is Amiga HD, cable is slightly modified (I just 'un-twisted' it so its totaly straight now.) It has only one FDD connector, but thats good in case of desktop A4000. Fly is there by accident, you know, like in that movie.. :-D |
DrDekker Posts:325 | September 26, 2006, 12:48:43 PM The fly's a nice touch! :-D Is the floppy drive a standard Amiga DD or an IBM HD jobby? Did you have to modify the cable at all? |
