rkauer Posts:3263 | January 21, 2008, 10:25:14 PM I use a kit of ready-made heatsinks taken from a PCI/AGP video cooler kit. Easily found on Ebay or other stores. |

Hodgkinson Posts:1080 | December 02, 2007, 07:31:30 PM Hello hello... Someone else with the same problem that I noticed...Id heard about these overheating issues and I thought Id do a few tests. An AGA demo (At 640x480x31Khz) didn't half cause Alice's temperature to skyrocket. I've made a custom aluminium heatsink that bridges across the three large custom chips as well as budgie just to the side, running straight under the RF shield and HDD caddy; I might post some photos one day when I find chance. EDIT: Photo now uploaded :-) Hodgkinson. |

_yak_ Posts:227 ![]() | October 05, 2006, 06:57:51 PM I also had to cool it down when I started using the VGA monitor. Without it I was getting some artefacts on the display after a while. |
