Yes there was one with S-Video but not from that company..........I used to have one............The S-Video Quality wasnot as good as a real S-Video signal though.but definitely better than RF or Composite...........it was basically S-Video but a little on the blurry side.  Still the best unit out there, unless one wants to plug in a SuperGen SX which gives excellent S-Video OUT and even makes Composite look good.  Only problem is if you want to play PAL games.you got to remove it. Annoying!  But the S-Video Modulator needs no removing.

Ah, so that's what it is :-)

I should have guessed that third-parties would make competing products to the A520, but somehow the thought never crossed my mind.

Yep, I have one of those, check my pictures  :-)
It works nicely, but I can't remember a huge difference between that and my old modulator. Unfortunately I don't have the old one anymore to do comparison tests.
