You can just use a 25-to-9 pin com port converter for that.
I use that between my pc and my amiga (with also a null-modem cable), to use AmigaExplorer.
Works like a treat :-D

You can use PIC programmers on the Miggy! The only difference is the serial port of Amigas is 25 pin D-Male, instead 9 pin on ordinary peecees.

 BTW: there are tools (assemblers and programs) for programming PICs & GALs on Amigas, too!

It's actually used on my PC since AFAIK there aren't any serial PIC programmers with serial port connection available for the Amiga.  It's quite possibly the simplest and cheapest design going.  Works great with PIC16F684(A)'s.
