You can just use a 25-to-9 pin com port converter for that. I use that between my pc and my amiga (with also a null-modem cable), to use AmigaExplorer. Works like a treat :-D |
rkauer Posts:3263 | July 02, 2007, 06:01:46 PM You can use PIC programmers on the Miggy! The only difference is the serial port of Amigas is 25 pin D-Male, instead 9 pin on ordinary peecees. BTW: there are tools (assemblers and programs) for programming PICs & GALs on Amigas, too! |
koaftder Posts:2116 | January 24, 2007, 05:00:24 PM I think it looks nice. |
DrDekker Posts:325 | January 01, 2007, 12:05:49 PM @Homer It's actually used on my PC since AFAIK there aren't any serial PIC programmers with serial port connection available for the Amiga. It's quite possibly the simplest and cheapest design going. Works great with PIC16F684(A)'s. |
Homer Posts:1166 | December 30, 2006, 01:21:23 AM Nice, but how many pins does my Com port have :-? |
