Description: Woohoo I'm so freaking HAPPY!!! I finally got me a new job so I can put the ramen noodles down a little bit. To celebrate I bring my stuff together to document my adventures in building my soon to be Amiga 4000T code named, Bianca Neve. As of right now I just have the board accesories, but as soon as I can get the money together I'm going to find me an CSPPC to put in the system.

So far I'm thinking about using my Prometheus card for the PCI expansions.  I'm still thinking it.  Who knows by then I might decided to use the Mediator.  The thing that keeps me going to the Prometheus is that I have this girl working on some drivers for me.

Cool, cool.  Well if you do get some results please do share, there are quite a few Prometheus users here including myself!  FYI, Voodoo3 and RTL8029 drivers work beautifully as they do not use DMA.  I've been quite satisfied with Paula sound, myself.

Well when I talked to her at the bookstore, she seemed like a very intelligent person (a geeky girl, but none the less intelligent.)

Is that a 3Com card?  And a video card with DVI?  And a sound card?  There's drivers for none of that with Prometheus, I think.  There is a firmware/PLC issue with DMA on Prometheus, an individual in Germany is working on fixing this problem and is in the early beta stage.

Or maybe the person you have writing drivers for you is some kind of voodoo war god.  I dunno :-)
