Description: They're in a closet with all the other Amiga misc. parts. I have them in there until I replace the flourescent lights in the computer room. I don't want them to yellow. :)

By the way, yes it was a UUCP server and C= European HQ in Germany. If you go to usenet and search for "cbmehq.esco.so.commodore.com" you will find it was used to send a number of messages.

@PaSha

I believe it's the same case as the PC60-3.

Yes I received it from a friend who is friends with a C= guy. The 3000T came from the same C= guy. You install AMIX off tape so I assume the tape drives served two purposes.

It's better than the real 3000T case, in my opinion. There's an additional 5.25" bay, and the 3.5" bays aren't excluded to non-floppy drives. Plus all the ventilation grills line up with the mesh in the metalwork underneath the front faceplate. Same thing with the location of the power button and keylock. Better for cooling.

AFAIK it's just a recycled C= pc case.

A3500 case design kind of seems to be inspired by the A2000, judging by the edges and the colour.

Is that monitor really small, or are those computers massive?

Note the label on the A3500:
CBMEHQ
Commodore Business Machines European HQ, apparantly an ex C= server, hence the tapedrives.

Those two QIC 150 drives look exactly like the drives contained in the A3070.  I wasn't aware that Commodore ever mounted them internally.

Nice looking machine!
